Time to gain my temporary Christmas weight like I do every year, Mmmmmmmmmmm om nom nom nom!

I only get Thorntons at christmas. I havnt had them for maybe two years and they are soooo good.
But yea, I love thorntons, I had a few of the Winter selection ones and damn are they strong and filled with much alcohol but also really yummy.
I dont think you get chocolates like these in America.
My favorite one:
Mulled Wine - Dashes of red wine and orange juice, mixed with spicy nutmeg and sprinkled with demerara sugar. The perfect European winter warmer.
It was beyond om nom nom nommy!
The reason I got so many was because they were £50 reduced to £35 for the whole hamper for the last few days of the Xmas sale.

The thing I like the best is that the ones in the red box are mini christmas puddings from around europe, particularly from France, Germany and Italy. They have lots of different flavors, theres gingerbread, nutmeg, orange, maple, mince, raisin, apricot, plus dashes of wine, brandy, rum and whatever else .
I would have liked two red boxes instead of 2 normal continental ones, but I suppose that the strength of them is not to everyones taste. If your mouth winces at 80% cocoa, coffee, or lemon chocolates, you wouldnt be able to handle the red box, far too strong, spicy and alcohol filled they are, but they taste like santa, jingle bells, christmas trees, mistletoe and snowflakes are all having a party in my mouth.
Mmmmmmmm.
Red box FTW.

Yea, but thorntons make real chocolates, not milk filled candy crap in usual supermarket brands =D.
To be honest, Cadburys Roses taste like Snot to me. The caramel in them is so bland, yucky, tasteless, and snot like.
Snot n roht is funny though.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Thorntons.
If you, like me, apreciate the REAL stuff, check out Hotel Chocolat. Pretty expensive (and dont even bother if you're living outside of the UK/US), but completely awesome. <3
Merry xmas to you, fellow choclate appreciator! ^^
